Teaching Economics in Eastern Europe -- Mike Ellerbrock For the third consecutive summer, Mike Ellerbrock is teaching economic foundations of capitalism to 90 high school teachers and 90 students in East European nations (Bulgaria, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary) making the transition from communism and socialism to market-based systems.  Sponsored by the Foundation for Teaching Economics in Davis, CA and VCE, our "Economics for Leaders" program (one-week long in each country) is funded by CITIBANK and is well received by the participants and their education ministries.  Pre/Post Exams reflect significant levels of comprehension.  Mike considers it a privilege to work with these dedicated colleagues.
